I grew up with one brother and always yearned for a sister. I surrounded myself with friends and knew that having connections with other women really filled up and colored my world. I have spent the last 7 years literally creating a ‘sisterhood’ for myself and others. Experiences that gathered women together. Events, dinners, trips – all planned to fill up my life and theirs with friendship, excitement, and destinations.
Over the years, I have been building businesses, planning conferences, hosting women through group travel around the world, becoming a travel expert, and creating safe spaces for women to connect…
Why I created this:

I know women want and need this.
I know there are too many women silently craving more connection, more adventure, more friendship, and more joy.
And I know I can create the kind of space where women feel immediately welcomed, deeply included, and genuinely excited about their lives again.
So I created The 50+ Sisterhood.

For the woman who wants her next chapter to feel beautiful, connected, expansive, and alive.
I decided that THIS is the time.

Amy Goober is a women’s community builder, connector, and founder of The 50+ Sisterhood. With a background in psychology and more than 20 years of experience bringing women together through coaching, events, workshops, and travel, Amy creates spaces where women feel welcomed, connected, and inspired to try something new.
She’s also the founder of Better Together Events and Wandering Women Travel.
Now, Amy is bringing all of that experience together to create The 50+ Sisterhood: a place to make new friends, find your people, have more fun, and say yes to experiences you might not have done on your own.
